Streaming!
So, I’ve got a new hobby! For too long, I have wasted time playing video games. Now I’m going to waste time playing video games in front of (hopefully) an audience.
I did a Twitch stream last year, in preparation for a podcast (still yet to materialize) about the classic JRPG Chrono Trigger. So I streamed my impressions as I played through a segment of that game.

For now, the game I’ll be streaming is Banjo-Kazooie, a game I hadn’t heard of on a platform that I missed. (The Nintendo 64 was released during that brief period of time when I was too old for video games.) But it’s a hell of a fun game, with a bear and his bird buddy trying to rescue his sister from the egotistical witch Gruntilda!
Thus far, I’ve done… uh… four? Five streams? I don’t remember exactly. But I am getting better with each stream! I’ve been spending some time on the technical side of things, and have purchased a theme from NerdOrDie, which I’m well pleased with. I’m continuing to make tweaks and improvements. Today I enabled chat commands, including a running death counter. That should be a lot of fun, as I die a LOT. Next project is figuring out how to have that death counter appear as an overlay in OBS.
So that’s what this blog will be about. I’ll also collect important links here on this site, to help promote and maybe even monetize my stream.
Oh yeah, the stream is here! I’ll need a big-ass button about that, won’t I?
